A Flagship whisky produced by the Teeling Whiskey Company. This is a delicious small-batch blend with a very high malt content. Interestingly enough, it's also been matured in rum casks for added spice. The blend is said to contain a high proportion of first-fill bourbon cask whiskey,and a higher-than-normal malt to grain ratio.

After its initial aging in Amercian oak barrels, this blended whiskey is further aged in casks Rum cask. This gives the brown sugar taste along with dried fruits to this lovely woody, spicy whiskey. Higher than normal ABV adds to the creamy mouthfeel.

The whiskey is currently sourced from Cooley Distillery,a distillery previously owned by the Teeling family now owned by Beam. It is then further matured in Teeling's own warehouses.

TastingNotes: 

Nose: Cut grass and orange blossom. All spice, hints of vanilla, apple pie and blackberries

Palate: Spiced, rich palate with rose petal jelly and lemon curd. Creamy vanilla, hints of dried herbs and cinnamon

Finish: Floral, herbal finish.Caramel on the tail

Serving :

Served best neat, or with a small cube of ice. The Teeling Small Batch also lends itself to a whole range of premium cocktails.
