Renowned for creating the world’s richest single malt Scotch, Laphroaig distill this exquisite 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky the same way today as when they were established over 75 years ago. Laphroaig has been the only whisky to carry the Royal Warrant of the Prince of Wales.

Laphroaig 10 Year Old is an all-malt Scotch Whisky from the remote island of Islay. In making Laphroaig,malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavour. Laphroaig is best savoured neat, or with a little cool water. Roll it around on your tongue.Release the pungent, earthy aroma of blue peat smoke, the sweet nuttiness of the barley, the delicate heathery perfume of Islay’s streams.

 

Tasting Notes: 

Gold amber colour. Toffee,caramel, light smoke, and faint iodine aromas. A supple entry leads to a fruity sweet full-bodied palate with honey, salty, toasty nuts, smoky embers, and a brush of iodine on the finish. Straightforward and classically styled Islay malt.
