The Kavalan Distillery in Taiwan has been dedicated to the art of single malt whisky since 2006 and is the recipient of more than 220 gold awards.

The classic single malt of Kavalan introduced since 2005 have wowed the world with their young but full flavoured whisky, concentrating on their signature flavours of tropical fruit.

The first thing that strikes you as you taste it is how un-youthful it is. It might as well be 12 year oldmalt from the Scottish Highlands, but with an incredible supple-fruited character. The malty character, the stone fruits, the accents of vanilla--they're all there, round and supple, but there's something just a bit different going on from the classic Scottish profile. It's the humid conditions of Kavalan's warehouse that allows the maturation to take place much faster.

TastingNotes: 

Color: Lively and passionate amber

Nose: Clean,elegant, floral (pleasant & refreshing fragrance of the butterfly orchid),fruity and seductive. With hints of honey, tropical fruits (mango in particular), pear drop, vanilla, coconuts and suggestions of chocolate.

Palate: A hintof sweet mango juice with that spicy complexity and gentle warmth on a medium,oily and citrus finish.

Kavalan classic is the perfect partner for seafood. Suggest to dilute Kavalan classic with water, the perfect ratio is "Kavalan Classic 1: Water 5", and add ice to cool.
