With only 2,000 bottles being made, this extremely rare limited edition version of the Hibiki 21 year old Mount Fuji ‘Kacho Fugetsu’ whisky (translating to “Beauty of Japanese Nature”)is one of the rarest whiskies available.

Hibiki Bottles have 24 facets,representing 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar. The Kacho Fugetsu limited edition also showcases a beautiful gold scenic print of Mount Fuji and the surrounding nature.

The Hibiki Japanese Harmony whisky is a blend of the finest whiskies from the House of Suntory Whisky.Consisting of a least 10 malt and grain whiskies, aged in five different types of casks including American White Oak cask, Sherry Oak cask and the rare Mizunara Japanese oak cask, coming from the Suntory’s Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries.

TastingNotes: 

Hibiki, meaning ‘harmony’, is blended from Suntory’s Japanese distilleries, however the exact makeup of the whisky is a distillery secret. The end result is a magnificently balanced sipping whisky; rich, creamy, dark cherry and caramel on the palate, soft and sweet on the finish with a touch of smoke.

Color:  Dark amber

Nose:  Aromas of sweet boiled fruit, blackcurrants and caramel.

Palate: Full bodied. Rich and buttery with notes of blackberries, dried apricot followed by Mizunara Oak and spices and a hint of smoke.

Finish: Long,rich and pleasant.
