The Lilian Ladouys vineyard, which has vines between the ages of 25 and 45 years is near those of such renowned Bordeaux superstars as Cos d'Estournel and Lafite-Rothschild. Most observers feel this up-and-coming St.Estephe estate will be a name to reckon within the nineties. Indeed, the property was promoted to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in the 2003 revision of the 1932 classification.

Château Lilian Ladouys is located in the south of the appellation of Saint-Estèphe and its history can be traced to the sixteenth century. The Chateau's vineyard covers 48 hectares offering a wide range of soils typical of the appellation allowing for a rich complexity in the wine.

Tasting Notes:

Saturated red with violet reflections, this is an intensely scented wine with wild aromatic mulberries, setting you off on a joyous journey, through the layers of generous oak, on to the expressive, rich and lingering red fruit palate with its hints of coffee. Medium bodied with sweet fruits and balanced tannins.
