Sourced from selected Indian barley grown in the frontier states of Punjab and Rajasthan and the wild flowing waters from the mountains, Amrut Single Malt is a wonderful addition to the world of whisky. The palate brings with it a richness normally associated with the very best Scotch Whisky.

Aged under the intense Indian sun, whisky ages nearly three times faster in India as compared to Scotland.

The whisky earned a score of 93 points from Jim Murray's Whisky Bible.In addition, it was named one of the 101 Whiskies to Try Before You Die by Ian Buxton.

 

Tasting Notes: 

Nose: Intense barley and grain, nutty, citrus, apricot.

Palate: Barley, honey develops with allspice, apricot, rum.

Finish: Apples, apricot, greengages, malt, fruit.

Overall: Very interesting, multifaceted.
